Sarah Dashun is a graduate from Connecticut School of Broadcasting (CSB). Her instructors were Houston’s own reporters, (KHOU) sports casters (FOX), and radio announcers (KRBE). Here Sarah had hands on extensive training with Television & Radio technology. In addition, she learned the knowledge and background of the broadcasting field. While attending this institution, Sarah gained as much knowledge as she could by studying the elements of what goes into each field. In doing so, Sarah graduated with a 4.0 average and was chosen as the class anchor for the 2007graduating class news cast! Before attending CSB, Sarah attended San Jacinto Community College North where she received her Associates Degree. Upon graduating, she delivered the class graduating commencement speech which she considered an honor. She also graduated from Crosby High School where she was a member of the National Honors Society, Treasurer of the American Patriotic Club, and a member UIL Spelling A little further Background about Sarah! Sarah grew up with old fashion southern rules and values, which she is very thankful for. She attends Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church where she has been a member since she was 7years old. She believes that growing up in the church has shaped her life and experiences. At her church, Sarah is the Announcer Clerk where she delivers the weekly church and community announcements and she is also an assistant Sunday School secretary. Sarah is very thankful for all of her accomplishments which she knows are blessings from God. Sarah was formally the community affairs director/ and reporter on television for Houston's Own Talent. At the same time, she also begin her internship at KWWJ Radio. Sarah is now an on-air personality with KWWJ Gospel 1360AM Radio. You can hear her every Sunday from 2 to 6 pm! |
